SPRING FLAG REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Saturday Development

Richmond Minor Football will be providing a development program prior to the start of the spring flag season. Starting on February 2nd. This will be an 8 week program that runs on Friday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm @ fraserview church in the main gym. It's located at 11295 Mellis Dr in Richmond. Our focus will be on movement, acceleration, agility, and core strengthening. It will be split into 2 sessions of 40 minutes with the 1st being mostly movement drills and agility. The 2nd focusing on safe contact tackling and other defensive motions. The first 4 sessions will be run with no equipment and the last 4 with shoulder pads and helmets. The cost for this program will be $75 and is open to ages 7-13. Payment can be handed in at the venue. It will include the 8 sessions and all participants will be given a t-shirt at the end of the program as well as an invite to a social night where the kids can play various games and have pizza and snacks. We invite parents that are thinking of coaching in the spring or fall to come and be a part of the sessions. We will have 1 - 2 sessions TBD that training will be provided while the players run through the program for anybody wishing to learn more about the game and what is expected of a coach.
